Enhanced access

If you would like an evening or Saturday appointment, please request this when you contact your practice. Details of your appointment, including the location of your appointment (if booked during enhanced access hours) will be given by reception at the time of booking.

As part of this service, appointments will be available between:

Practice training days

The surgery will be closed from 12:30pm to 6:30pm on the below dates for staff training (any appointments booked into the evening clinic will continue as normal). This is in line with all practices in North East Essex.

Please ensure you allow enough time to request and collect prescriptions.

For advice on minor illness you can ask your local pharmacist. Alternatively, NHS 111 service remains available during this time.

Upcoming practice training dates:

  • Tuesday 25th February 2025

Other training dates to be confirmed.

If you need help when we are closed

If you need medical help now, use NHS 111 online or call 111.

NHS 111 online is for people aged 5 and over. Call 111 if you need help for a child under 5.

Call 999 in a medical or mental health emergency. This is when someone is seriously ill or injured and their life is at risk.

Parking

We share our surgery car park and the blue spaces are reserved for staff / visitors at the C3 Church. Please do not park in these.

We have 2 spaces marked out as “drop off points”. These are for use by public or patients who are bringing someone to the surgery and can only be parked in for 10 minutes.

Parking is limited at the surgery and we would encourage all users who live locally to walk to cycle to the surgery where possible.

Cycle

We have an undercover bike park at the surgery. Please visit the Cycle Colchester website www.cyclecolchester.co.uk for more information and cycle maps.

Public transport

Our closest bus stop is on Ypres Road. The number 63 / 63A bus stops here and travels into the town centre.

There is also a bus stop on Mersea Road,175. Services 8 & 67 are the most frequent.

Community bus

Please visit the Community 360 website for more information on the community voluntary bus service that runs in Colchester.

Car parks near by

Our closest public car park is the pay and display on Napier road this is roughly a 10 minute walk from the surgery.

There is also a pay and display car park on Butt road, which is also roughly a 15 minute walk from the surgery.
